„INSOMNIA“ wurde als erste Single der NIGHTWATCHERS im Jahre 2002 von BOB CRUISE, STEFAN GRUENWALD und MAREK ERHARDT für KONTOR-Records produziert. Es ging ein großer Aufschrei seinerzeit durch die DJ-Szene wegen sog. Blasphemie: ( „Um Gottes Willen, Faithless darf man doch nicht covern, blah, blah, blah …“). Doch der Titel setzte sich durch, chartete in die TOP 100 MediaControlCharts und landete auf Platz 1 der Club-Internet-Charts.
